Training on Lifting Devices and Lashing Accessories

4-hour training courses

Lifting activities are found in a multitude of industries. Every year in Quebec, approximately 700 lost-time accidents are attributable to lifting and slinging. This training course sheds light on the different risks and the safe work methods to avoid them. This training aims to inform workers about the different lifting equipment and accessories, their characteristics, the inspection methods and the different types of lifting.

  2. Present the safety rules for the use of lifting devices
  3. Present the different types of securing and lifting devices
  4. Present the inspection, maintenance and storage methods
