Traffic Plan Training on the Construction Site

4-hour training courses

Heavy vehicle and construction equipment traffic is commonplace on construction sites and their day-to-day activities are sometimes considered mundane. Unfortunately, fatal accidents caused by crushing still occur all too often and no one is immune to this tragic reality. Since 2006, the CNESST has counted 7 workers killed, injured or trapped by equipment and in the majority of cases, the main cause of the accident is due to poor occupational health and safety management. But what are the concrete preventive measures that contractors can implement to avoid this risk? This training activity sheds light on work organization, effective occupational health and safety management, traffic plan development, stakeholders involved, government requirements, etc.
