Lockout is a pre-established work procedure composed of a series of practices aimed at neutralizing the different energy sources of a piece of equipment in order to render it inoperable and safe. Thus, this training offers a simplified version of our Lockout/Tagout training and aims to introduce workers to the basics of lockout, by explaining the general lockout procedure, energy sources, different equipment and alternatives to lockout.
Training Objectives
- Familiarization with the basic concepts related to lockout.
- Information on the different sources of energy that can be found in the workplace
- Explanation of the general lockout procedure

About 1 hour.
