Fall Protection Training
CNESST Zero Tolerance Training
The risk of falling from heights is at the heart of the CNESST’s construction action plan. Every day, two workers are injured following a fall from height. This training was custom-made for construction workers and aims to teach safe methods of wearing a safety harness and various accessories for fall protection. In addition, methods for inspecting the fall protection harness and practical demonstrations are the focus of this training.
Training Objectives
- Awareness of the importance of health and safety at work
- Know how to recognize a risk of falling from a height
- Know the collective and individual protection measures applicable to the risk of falling from a height
- Know the techniques for adjusting the safety harness
- Know the risks associated with the use of equipment such as ladders, stepladders, aerial work platforms and telescopic platformsDuration of the Course
Duration of the Course
Two trainings are offered, a 4-hour training and a 7-hour training.
