CNESST Zero Tolerance Training

The risk of falling from heights is at the heart of the CNESST’s construction action plan. Every day, two workers are injured following a fall from height. This training was custom-made for construction workers and aims to teach safe methods of wearing a safety harness and various accessories for fall protection. In addition, methods for inspecting the fall protection harness and practical demonstrations are the focus of this training.

Training Objectives

  1. Awareness of the importance of health and safety at work
  2. Know how to recognize a risk of falling from a height
  3. Know the collective and individual protection measures applicable to the risk of falling from a height
  4. Know the techniques for adjusting the safety harness
  5. Know the risks associated with the use of equipment such as ladders, stepladders, aerial work platforms and telescopic platformsDuration of the Course

Duration of the Course

Two trainings are offered, a 4-hour training and a 7-hour training.
